Teen Rooms
Southern Alberta. Canada.
Our client the Andersons were introduced to REBEL&CHIC when they wanted the help of an interior decorator to decorate their two teen boys bedrooms for the new home they were purchasing. The Andersons wanted to work with their sons to decorate and purchase décor items over a longer period of time to ensure what was purchased was really what their son’s needed and wanted for each of their bedroom spaces. No problem! The Anderson’s were a perfect fit for our Digital Decorating Services.
We worked the Anderson’s and their sons to identify bedroom floor plans and square footage, window placement and size, and overall ceiling height. We discussed furniture and any other décor items they had and wanted to incorporate into each of the rooms, and discussed ultimately how each of the boys wanted their rooms to look and feel (one room sporty and the other a calming place to relax). We discussed what other purposes their rooms might serve? (gaming, crafts, reading, hanging with friends etc…). From our conversations we were able to create two sustainable design concepts the Anderson’s could work with for each of their son’s rooms once they took possession of their new home.
REBEL&CHIC provided Anderson’s with design concepts captured in two Digital Design Boards that included sustainable elements to incorporate into each teen room including eco-friendly paint colors, materials and colors, metal selections, area rugs, artwork and lighting suggestions. The Anderson’s Digital Design boards were curated with sustainability in mind, allowing the family to purchase furniture and decor items at their convenience as they found furniture and décor with their son’s, within their family budget, and within timeline that suited all their needs.
The Anderson’s connected with their interior decorator at REBEL&CHIC about 6 times throughout the next 6 months after moving into their new home, to using their two 90 minutes of consulting time for each Digital Design Board to discuss bedframes, artwork and custom framing, bedding, and final paint colors for their son’s rooms.
